Navel is a collection of poems written between my arrival in Germany in the autumn of 2023 and the beginning of 2025.

During long periods of solitude in Germany, I gradually reconnected with myself through writing. As a free and open form, poetry offered me a space to continually probe, enter, and recognize my own feelings. Things that once filled me with shame and resisted expression slowly surfaced in the gaps between words: the pull, tremor, and hidden echoes produced within the body when the boundaries between self and others collide.
